Home at Last
I have been away working in Northern Ghana for the last month. I took a team of 20 Engineers constructing pump platforms and fitting mechanical pumps to remote communities.
We provided 4000 people with access to clean drinking water over the month, the photo below shows the end results.
I also managed to get my 10k run in for the Facing Africa charity. Daytime temperatures were in the low to mid 40's so I had to do the run at 4.45 in the morning in the headlights of a following 4x4. All for a good cause though.
Hopefully more posts to follow on what the Club got up to in my absence, Courses gradings etc.
