Kato Sensei Celebrates 25 years of Shotokan Karate at Haxby Dojo

Haxby dojo is honoured that Kato Shihan will join them to celebrate 25 Years of Shotokan Karate in the Haxby and Wiggington districts of Yorkshire.

Kato Sensei will be running an open course and grading for IJKA members over the weekend of the 25th and 26th of November 2006 at the Wigginton Recreation Hall Dojo.
It is planned to go out for a meal and a few drinks on the Saturday night to celebrate Haxby's anniversary. All grades are encouraged to attend, it is not intended as a meeting of "the old and bold", Sensei enjoys meeting all our members in a social setting over a Guinness or two.

Sensei Ian Shaw has arranged for additional training for black and brown belts for one hour on each day, your support for this event is expected if your work and family commitments allow.

Details of training and costings:

Saturday 25th November: 1.30pm for 2pm start, training to 4pm for all grades, training to 5pm for Black and Brown Belts.

Sunday 26th November: 9.30am for 10am start, training and grading to 1pm for all grades, training to 2pm for Black and Brown Belts.

Sensei Ian Shaw has kept costings to a minimum again, Training fees are £18 for one or two days (so try and train on both days!),
£18 is that all for 5 or 7 hours of training with a 8th Dan Instructor.
Grading fees are in addition to training fees, 9th Kyu to 1st Kyu is £10 and 12th Kyu to 10th Kyu is only £6.

Non IJKA members are very welcome but please drop an email to Sensei Ian (ianshawy@btinternet.com) , It would be nice to see a few old friends of Sensei Mike and Ian over the weekend.

Hope to see you there, Osu!
