Asai Shihan 10th Dan
Asai Shihan was the chief instructor of the IJKA and JKS associations and recognised across the world as a true master of karate.
As was the custom of the founder of modern karate to develop karate, Asai Shihan followed. Asai Shihan was influenced by the Chinese martial arts and was recognised by his flowing style. For Asai Shihan Karate was very much a martial art and not a sport.
Asai Shihan is honoured by the posthumous Rank of 10th Dan, he will also be honoured by the development of karate by his many students.
