Beginners Course 18th November 2007

You could be wearing a Selby Shotokan Karate Club sweatshirt in 2008, forty years on from when the sweatshirt above was worn.

The date and very special price of our beginners course has been announced.

To celebrate our move to Barlby high school we will start our course on the 18th November 2007. Enrolling students will have to pay an IJKA fee of £17.50 to cover insurances and association membership, but you will not have to pay any training fees until March 2008, yes March 2008.

We have also reviewed our mat fees £15 for one, £25 for two or £35 for a family membership, these are monthly fees, so that is equal to £1.25/hr or less for two or more people training 3 hours a week.

We are a non-profit making club run by a committee for the benefits of it members in the study of traditional Shotokan karate.

Hope to see you soon, we offer training for all from 7 years upwards.
