Sunday 24th November - JKS Nationals

800 individual competitors and 100 teams the biggest event ever for JKS GB and Ireland.

This is a big event for an amateur club from a small town in North Yorkshire.

Our club has slowly developed over the past couple of years and we were very pleased to take a small squad. The squad are all inexperienced in competition but it was important that the club was represented in our associations national event.

I was very proud of all our competitors, many just missed out on a medal position but as a squad we came home with 5 Silver medals, something that the whole club should be celebrating.

Event 1 - 10th to 4th Kyu - 9 & under - Leah Fielding - Age 8 - 7th Kyu - Silver Medal
Event 5 - 6th to 4th Kyu - 10 to 15 - Emily Crockford - Age 13 - 4th Kyu - Silver Medal
Event 41 - 8 and Under - Team Kumite - Marny Waters, Leah Fielding & Lewis Urwin
